Hi, I’m Chris Barber.

In 2011, I accepted a position in the locations department on a movie being filmed in Portland, OR. I didn’t know it at the time, but that job set me down a path that I’m still on today, one I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world.

Being a locations professional in the Pacific Northwest is a dream job I’m so lucky to have - I get to explore one of the most majestic parts of this planet, work within an amazing film community that’s capable of anything, and meet hundreds upon hundreds of people that live and work in this region and are a huge part of why it’s so special.

I’m passionate about my job, and I bring that passion to the projects I work on. I’ve worked at every level in a locations department - Office PA, Coordinator, Scout, ALM, Key ALM, and Manager - and my goals are always to find, advocate for, facilitate, and problem solve the locations needed for any project in the easiest, most efficient, and fun ways possible.
